Sketches from the trip to Madrid

These two were done on my way to gothenburg on the Train.

If anyone has been to Nerfertiti house club in Gothenburg, you might recognize this guy, about 60 years old and dances like a madman. Better living through chemistry ftw!

Seasons change.

Before uploading skteches and paintings doenon my trip, i thought id show these, two different times of day (and seasons) in Båstad. When I came back from Madrid, the leaves on the vines had gone from bright green to a deep blood red. Very Nice!

The New Studio space

Here we go, the new 600 sq foot studio, 50 sq meters for all you metric heads, empty (except for some of the previous tenants stuff) and pristine. I got my gear in there yesterday, and today is organizing time! Photos will come later, i will post some pics of all my studios and compare them. Till then, this is what it looks like.

More from the masters studio!

Here are some of Sorollas tiny alla primas, done on whatever seemed to be at hand. THese were amazing, and great so see, especially after seeing the enormous pleine airs at the Prado. (No pics). His house was great, almost noone there, and you could take all the photos you wanted. Me and Nate even painted in his garden (complete disaster, ill post it later anyway) One amazing thing was that when we went to Toledo to paint, we could go to the same places where he painted from, and we did. Future posts will show them. It was such privilege to paint, and then go back to his house to see how HE painted it.
